Federal Judge Castigates DHS, Orders Stop to Its Mass Paroling of Illegal Aliens - In a scathing opinion on Wednesday that questions the credibility of the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. District Court Judge T. Kent Wetherell II for the Northern District of Florida has ordered a stop to the Biden administration’s “Parole Plus Alternatives to Detention” (“Parole+ATD”) policy that has been illegally releasing hundreds of thousands of aliens into the U.S., concluding that it violates the Administrative Procedure Act, which governs rulemaking by federal agencies. I Was Assaulted by Antifa at a Detrans Rally - Members and allies of the detransitioner community met in front of the California State Capitol here Friday ahead of Detrans Awareness Day. Attendees included notable detrans activists, such as Abel Garcia. I was in Sacramento covering the rally when I saw the crowd of Antifa members over in the distance. I approached the “black bloc” right before the event began and started filming. Within less than five minutes of arriving on the scene, a man, dressed head-to-toe in black clothing, wearing a baseball helmet, goggles and mask, lunged out from the crowd. He hit me in the arm with what I assumed was a bat or some other blunt object. Most of the events were caught on tape. Heritage Expert: Tim Kennedy

The Costs of Biden’s Border Crisis: The First Two Years - In President Biden’s first two years, the Administration requested and received significant funding to further its open borders agenda. The Biden Administration is using hundreds of billions of federal dollars to shift federal agencies and personnel further away from enforcing the nation’s immigration laws and toward processing and accommodating millions more illegal aliens. This policy agenda defies federal law and abuses American taxpayer dollars, and Congress should act to halt it. Heritage Experts: Erin Dwinell and Hannah Davis

The U.S. and Its Allies Must Understand and Respond to Russia’s Nuclear Threats - Vladimir Putin’s dreams of Ukraine re-incorporated into Russia, of breaking up NATO, and of Russia leading a global anti-Western alliance are collapsing about him. Disaster for Russia’s imploding armed forces may well await, and, eventually, Ukraine’s armed forces will likely threaten to break Russia’s land corridor linking Crimea to the Donbas. At that point, Putin will make one of the most fateful decisions of the century: to use nuclear or chemical weapons or not. The U.S. must minimize that threat and ensure the protection of the American public and of U.S. allies. Heritage Expert: Ted Bromund

This crazy law opens voting booths to aliens - The cherry blossoms aren’t the only things blooming early this year in Washington. Radical ideas have been blossoming in the D.C. City Council, too—ideas that will both disenfranchise and endanger the city’s citizens. The Council’s radical rewrite of D.C’s criminal code has received a lot of attention—and rightfully so. Crime is so bad in the District right now, robbers are demanding the coats off of their victims’ backs. Seemingly no one is safe. Rep. Angie Craig was literally assaulted in her apartment building on the way to vote on whether to override the Council’s irresponsible criminal code revisions that will give criminals a get-out-of-jail free card. (Needless to say, she voted to override it). Heritage Expert: Zack Smith and Hans von Spakovsky
