John -- I am excited to announce my new role as Executive Director, and to lead the All On The Line team into the next phase of our grassroots movement. As A.G. Holder said on Friday:

We started this movement years ago because American voters deserved fair maps representing our diverse communities—and we needed a coordinated strategy to make that happen. Our strategy worked, but the threat to fair maps continues….

And so must our work.

In 2017, I joined this organization as Director of Litigation and Policy. Since then, we have trailblazed the fair maps movement forward in and outside the courts with support from folks like you who are willing to shatter barriers and build a more just America.

Together, our work during the 2021-2022 redistricting cycle led to the fairest U.S. congressional map in 40 years and more fair state legislative maps than in the preceding decade. But we no longer see this fight through the lens of 10 ten-year cycles. This is a constant battle that we must take on day after day.

Active redistricting lawsuits against congressional maps in 14 states could affect as many as 29 seats, making redistricting a significant factor ahead of the 2024 elections. In multiple states, including Texas, North Carolina, and Ohio, congressional and state legislative districts are also anticipated to be redrawn this year.

We are actively organizing using our multifaceted approach as we anticipate decisions in the rehearing for Harper v. Hall and upcoming local elections in states like Wisconsin. But to keep up this momentum in 2023 and beyond, we need your help, John. >> [link removed]
