It’s almost spring, and just as the weather is getting warmer, our campaign is heating up as well! But with March nearly halfway over already, we need to take our fundraising efforts to the next level.

After the end of this month, we'll have to report our fundraising totals for the first quarter of the year. Once our fundraising becomes public, pundits and Republicans will be taking a hard look — and if we put up an underwhelming number, we'll be sending an open invitation for the other side to swarm us with attack ads.

To keep us on pace for our public fundraising deadline, we've set a mid-month goal this week of $3,000. Will you contribute $10 — or any amount — to help us reach this number by Thursday? Every grassroots donation we can get in the next 72 hours will make a big difference.

Slowly but surely, the focus on Virginia's legislative elections this November is intensifying. And once the first finance reports of the year go public, things will really pick up. So now is the time to make sure we get our books in order and show that we've got what it takes to win.
