The truth is, like many other campaigns, we had a slowdown in our February fundraising. We're hoping we can turn that around in the few days we have before the FEC deadline.
What's the FEC deadline? Well, if you've been reading our emails for a while, you probably already know: At the end of every quarter, we *have* to report — publicly — how much we've raised in that quarter. These deadlines are how we structure the campaign's budget for events, outreach, ads, and staff, but they're also a big show of how much support we can build for Jamaal. 💪
Our movement for progressive progress depends on grassroots supporters, not big corporate PACs. That's why Jamaal is able to stand up to powerful interests and advocate for policies like the PRO act, Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and more. We'll only hit our goals with the help of this movement's people power.
This FEC deadline is huge for our plans for the rest of the year. So we have to ask: If you can, will you make your very first contribution to power our campaign forward?
