John,

As you may know, candidates running for federal office have to submit
quarterly finance reports that detail the money they raise and the money they
spend. That’s why end-of-quarter fundraising pushes are so important, because
they demonstrate what kind of financial situation a campaign is in and
therefore how strong a campaign is.

But what you might not know is that state Democratic Parties submit quarterly
FEC reports as well. And now that Senator Tester has announced that he’s
running for re-election to the US Senate, it’s even more important that we
publish the strongest fundraising number possible.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 by the end of this month to assist in re-electing
Senator Tester and defending the seat that could decide control of the Senate.
And we’re hoping to have half of that amount raised by the end of the night on
Wednesday. Can you help us hit the $25,000 mark by donating $25 to the Montana
Democratic Party today?

So far we’ve raised just over $20,000, so we’ll need a big push to get to the
halfway point by Wednesday evening. But we’ve already seen such a massive
outpouring of support for our party and for Senator Tester this year that we
know this is a goal we can achieve.

We’ll continue to reach out over the next two days to try and reach this
mid-month goal, because at this point the most valuable thing we can do is
gather all of our resources for a massive fight in 2024.

With that in mind, I hope you’ll donate $25 or more to the Montana Democratic
Party to help us hit this goal and defend Montana’s Democratic Senate seat.

Wishing you all the best,

Sheila

The Montana Democratic Party is the party of the people. We welcome to our
cause Montanans of every color, creed, and condition. Our history as a party
teaches us that by working together and speaking as one, we can move society
forward, especially when we raise our voices for those among us with little
money, influence, or acceptance.
