A conversation with our CWA union rep

Friends,

Earlier this year, our staff ratified a highly progressive two-year collective bargaining agreement. Breach is a proud member of the Communications Workers of America (CWA) Local 7901 and we worked in partnership with Breach’s Board of Directors to develop the contract, which includes a 32-hour full-time work week, 50 vacation days per year, unlimited sick days, six months paid family leave, and a wage parity article.

A couple of weeks ago, our communications team sat down with Jeanne Stewart, our CWA rep to talk about what the collective bargaining process was like, the unique way we were able to work with our Board to reach agreement, and advice for folks seeking to organize their own workplaces.

If you are interested in or are in the midst of trying to unionize your workplace, please feel free to get in touch for help and guidance: [email protected]. We’d love to chat! In the meantime, check out this guide we've created for you. And if you're a manager interested in learning how to be a good, pro-union boss, we've got you covered too.

In solidarity,

The Breach Team
