With March being Women’s History Month, Mad wanted to lift up some of the inspiring women and girls in her life – and hear from you about yours. As you probably know, friend, before coming to Congress Mad served in Harrisburg alongside dozens of dedicated women from across Pennsylvania – including Rep. Joanna McClinton. As an integral leader in PA, Rep. McClinton helped Dems secure victories up and down the ballot last November, and just two weeks ago we saw even more success from those elections as Rep. McClinton was elected as the first ever woman Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. This is a historic achievement, no doubt, but for those who know Speaker McClinton, it’s hardly surprising. From her work as a public defender to her tireless community advocacy, Joanna is a respected leader and public servant – and Mad knows that firsthand. From their service together in Harrisburg, Mad has seen Joanna’s passion and commitment on efforts like bail reform and gun violence prevention, and she knows that Joanna is more than ready to continue leading in her new role – Madam Speaker. Now, this month, we want to hear from you: tell us about an inspiring woman in your life >> Happy Women’s History Month! Team Dean
