In the face of Republican attacks on Social Security, Medicare, the Inflation Reduction Act, and more, your budget seeks to strengthen and protect the programs Americans rely on while giving families more breathing room by lowering everyday costs.
Your budget would:

- Protect and strengthen Medicare and Social Security
- Lower costs for families – from child care and prescription drugs, to utilities and health insurance
- Make our communities safer
- Cut the deficit by nearly $3 trillion over 10 years
- Lower housing costs and expand access to affordable rent and home ownership for millions of Americans
- Reduce the deficit by making the wealthy and corporations pay their fair share
- Cut wasteful spending on Big Pharma, Big Oil, and other special interests
- Combat the climate crisis and advance environmental justice all while lowering monthly energy costs for American families
