Dear John -- I’m excited to formally announce that Planned Parenthood Action Fund has endorsed Carolyn’s campaign in the race for Washington’s 3rd district! Over the past seven months on the campaign trail, we’ve met with dozens of folks in this district (both Democrats and Republicans) who tell us the same thing: Politicians in D.C. need to back off reproductive freedom, access to health care, and preventative cancer screenings. Sadly, the far-right is still a threat to health care. That applies to Carolyn’s opponent, Jaime Herrera Beutler, who has only a 3% voting record from Planned Parenthood. And that’s why we need to flip this seat -- not only to fend off these legislative attacks, but also to ensure that all people and families in our community have the care, support, and respect they deserve.
