Spring trout stocking schedule released
Another spring of trout fishing is about to begin. More than 80,000 rainbow trout will be stocked in waters across the state in the coming weeks. This is an excellent chance to enjoy a tasty trout dinner and some catch-and-release. Find the tentative stocking schedule on our website.

Join us for virtual discussion on fisheries
Join Nebraska Game and Parks in a virtual discussion on fisheries management during meetings March 20-23.
These four regional public informational sessions ? one for each Game and Parks district ? will provide local updates on the fishing outlook and special projects in respective areas.?The informal, interactive gatherings will provide a chance for questions, dialogue and feedback.

Try for the Nebraska Trout Slam
With trout being released statewide, now is an excellent time to work on completing the Nebraska Trout Slam.?To achieve a Trout Slam, anglers must catch, photograph, release if wished and submit a photo of the four trout species found in Nebraska ? brook, brown, rainbow and cutthroat.

 Archery paddlefish application dates
Want to be pursuing paddlefish by bow and arrow this summer? Apply for an archery paddlefish permit now through March 14. Results of the draw will be made available by March 20.
