People, experiences, and attitudes, I think, often contribute to our desires, fears, aspirations, decisions, feelings, and actions. BCAction was created out of love, anger, determination, and understanding that broken, biased, and discriminative systems and structures did not, and do not, support every person to experience a healthy and thriving life.
As the team consistently reflects and plans, we keep all of you, our community, at the forefront of our strategies and goals at BCAction. YOU motivate our hearts and drive our efforts forward to keep the promise and integrity of BCAction’s values, visions, and hopes of realizing a world without breast cancer or any cancer.
Please join me in celebrating our loved ones living with cancer and all who have, or have had, a lived experience with cancer, as well as those who have passed away from breast cancer. Lives change forever with a diagnosis, and lives are forever changed when we lose a loved one to cancer.
In their honor and through their inspiration we will remain forever vigilant in our work to address and end the breast cancer crisis.
Today and every day, we hold dear those we’ve lost to the breast cancer crisis and honor the activists striving to address and end it. And we give thanks to those who have donated in memory or honor of a loved one.
Thank you for your support and action within and through our crucial work to address and end the breast cancer crisis.
