John,
Last week, I gave my first speech on the floor of the U.S. House, and I used it to shine a light on the ways in which Washington is leaving New Mexico’s 2nd District behind.
22,735 veterans in New Mexico live in poor housing conditions.
42% of NM-02 does not have access to high-speed internet.
1 in 4 New Mexicans rely on SNAP benefits.
It’s clear that New Mexico doesn’t get its fair share of investments or attention in Washington, and there is a real disparity on the ground between this district and others.
Washington can no longer forget about communities like ours. We need more investments in infrastructure such as rural broadband, economic development, and better housing for those who’ve served our country.
That’s what I’m committed to do as your representative in Congress, but the far-right is chomping at the bit to take this seat back and undo all that progress.
Help me continue to fight for NM-02 in Washington: pitch in $10 or whatever you can afford right now to refuel our grassroots campaign and keep our district moving forward.
