John,
Did you see Deborah’s email from yesterday? We’re fighting back against right-wing attempts to kick millions of people off of Medicaid in the midst of massive inflation and just as our society and economy are recovering from the pandemic.
One of the best ways we’ve found to break-through on critical issues, whether it’s convincing voters or members of Congress, is through telling the stories of everyday people.

-- DEBORAH'S EMAIL --
John,
Nearly 95 million people rely on Medicaid and CHIP to cover their health care needs -- and that number grew substantially during the pandemic with nearly two-thirds of new enrollees being adults under 65 years old and nearly one-third being children.
But Medicaid doesn’t just provide critical health care coverage for vulnerable people. It also provides nursing home care for the aging, and home- and community-based care for low-income people and people with disabilities.
One of the best ways CHN has found to fight back against right-wing attempts to cut Medicaid is to tell the stories of everyday people.
Help us fight back against attacks on our earned benefits by sharing your story about how Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid is critical in your life or the life of a loved one. Click here to share your story today!

Together, we’re reminding politicians in Washington that cuts to critical services aren’t just numbers on a spreadsheet; they have real life consequences that impact people of all ages -- from working people to children to the aging.
