Hey, John.
Before I take a moment to re-introduce myself, I’ll be straight with you: We're in a really tight spot with our mid-month deadline. My campaign needs to raise $10,000 in the next 82 hours to maintain its momentum against Governor Tate Reeves. So I'm kindly asking: Can I count on you to donate a few bucks?
My name is Brandon Presley, and I’ve dedicated my entire life to public service and delivering results for the people of Mississippi.
I was born and raised in Nettleton. I was elected mayor of my hometown at 23 years old. And now, I serve as the Public Service Commissioner.
My actions have always spoken louder than words.
I’ve brought high-speed internet all the way to some of the most remote and forgotten parts of our state. I helped save taxpayers over 6 billion dollars, put people back to work with the Hire Mississippi program, balanced the budget, and even cut taxes twice.
But you know what? None of this would have been possible without my momma.
See, life was never easy growing up for this Mississippi kid. I grew up in a house where you could see the dirt through the floor, and there wasn’t a stove or refrigerator in sight.
My daddy was an alcoholic who never made it to recovery. And on the first day of third grade, he was murdered in cold blood.
My momma worked at the local garment factory before it shut down. She dug in and dug deep, raising three kids all by herself while instilling in me a deep value of hard work and perseverance.
Brandon, as a child, with his mother.
And it’s why I’ve devoted every waking moment to helping our communities. I’ve taken on the big utility companies, corporate lobbyists, and anybody who’s tried to screw over everyday Mississippians.
Now, I am ready to send Governor Tate Reeves packing and move Mississippi forward. Tate Reeves had his chance to serve the good folks of our state, but he’s spent more time enriching his wealthy pals and turning Mississippi into a hotbed of corruption than helping the people who voted him in.
We can build a Mississippi where we fight corruption, not embrace it. Where we cut taxes. Lower the cost of healthcare. And create good-paying jobs. But I can’t do this alone.
I could really use your help to hit our mid-month fundraising goal and take us one step closer to defeating Governor Tate Reeves. Can I count on your donation before the deadline?
God bless,
Brandon Presley
