John,
The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) headquarters is in need of a new home, and last week, I made the case that the new FBI headquarters should be built here in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
This is a legacy-defining moment for the Biden Administration and a generational opportunity for our state — it would be a historic investment in a historic county at a historic moment in history.
By making Maryland its new home, the FBI will benefit from our pipeline of talented cybersecurity experts from the NSA, U.S. Cyber Command, Fort Meade, Bowie State, Johns Hopkins University, and the University of Maryland, all of which call Maryland home. We have the diverse, skilled, and service-oriented workforce to power the FBI’s mission forward.
And Maryland will benefit from the FBI, creating opportunities and championing equity in a majority Black jurisdiction.
If you’re with me and want to see President Biden build the new FBI HQ here in Maryland, add your name to show your support →

If you haven’t read my op-ed in the Washington Post about why Maryland is the best home for the FBI, you can check it out here.
Thanks for joining me in raising your voice and working to move Maryland and our country forward.
Elevate,
Wes
