Power is up for grabs in major cities across the country this year, and
we’re going big to build local power!
On Monday’s [ [link removed] ]Organizing Call, we’ll dig into the big Chicago runoff race
between Brandon Johnson, a former public school teacher and union
organizer, and Paul Vallas, a public school privatizer who calls himself
“more of a Republican than a Democrat.”
In Tuesday’s election in St. Louis, where we hold a progressive majority,
nearly our entire slate advanced to the general election — including Mayor
Tashaura Jones, Board President Megan Green, and 9 of our 10 ward
candidates!
We’ve got more opportunities to build progressive power through upcoming
elections in Philly, Nashville, Dallas, NYC and more!

NEW ‘BIRDIE SANDERS’ STICKER
[ [link removed] ][IMG]
This month marks the 7th anniversary of the famous bird-landing on
Bernie's podium — and we're celebrating with a new sticker depicting the
hope and joy that was lit in that moment.
Get your sticker with a one-time donation of $10 (just $5 for members!) or
sign-up for a monthly donation of just $5 or more.
This heartwarming moment in Bernie-history took place in 2016 in Portland,
OR, where a crowd of 28,000 erupted in thunderous applause.
“I think there's some symbolism here,” Bernie said. “This bird is really a
dove asking us for world peace — no more wars!”

This was a big week in our campaign with One Fair Wage, and we’ll have a
full report back on Monday’s [ [link removed] ]Organizing Call from our events and our
work to end the subminimum wage in 13 states this year.
On Thursday, we joined US Reps. Ro Khanna, Debbie Dingell, Jan Schakowsky,
and other progressives for a press event calling out the National
Restaurant Association for using workers’ money to block higher wages.
Our Revolution organizers and activists were busy this week in IL, MD, NY,
and CT — rallying with workers and pressuring elected officials to pass
our bills!
You can help by telling your reps to reject dirty money from the ‘Other
NRA’ which has helped keep the federal minimum wage at $7.25 since 2009 —
and just $2.13 since 1991 for tipped workers!
