Judiciary Subcommittee Hearing on IP Theft and Strategic Competition with China
The Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, and the Internet met to discuss IP theft and competition with China. The Chinese Communist Party has taken advantage of joint ventures between American and Chinese companies to steal business from us. Congress must address this.

Financial Services Committee Hearing with Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell
The Financial Services Committee hosted Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell for a review of the semi-annual Monetary Policy Report. With the Fed rightly shrinking its balance sheet, to fix the inflation caused by Democrats, increasing mortgage rates are an unfortunate side effect.
Congress must work with the central bank to bring more private capital into the mortgage market to increase access for first-time homebuyers.

Judiciary Subcommittee Hearing on Reining in the Administrative State and Reclaiming Congress's Legislative Power
The Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on the Administrative State, Regulatory Reform, and Antitrust met for a hearing titled to explore the ways in which the federal government's administrative bureaucracy has exercised inappropriate authority on matters that must be addressed by Congress.

Meeting with VFW of Wisconsin
I'm grateful representatives of the VFW of Wisconsin stopped by to meet with me and discuss their legislative priorities this Congress. Fighting on behalf of those who served is one of my top priorities.
Meeting with the National Assoc. of Convenience Stores
It was great to meet with members of the National Association of Convenience Stores to discuss the current challenges they face and how Congress can help them reduce costs for customers.
