Hey team,
Just five years ago, climate change was pretty damn low on the priority list for most voters and politicians.
The problem was that, for a long time, when politicians talked about climate change, they talked about melting glaciers and one-degree-warming predictions – things that didn’t seem to affect our day-to-day lives.
But around 2018, something changed. We faced record-breaking storms, floods, and extreme weather. The climate crisis became too obvious and too immediate to ignore.
That’s when I decided to run for office so I could finally address the elephant in the room: What climate change means, what the consequences of inaction will be, and most importantly, how we’re going to fight it together. Will you pitch in $25 to help me keep up this critical work?
Things have changed so much that even the most staunchly anti-science Republicans have realized that their three-decade-long strategy of pretending climate change doesn’t exist is going to start costing them elections.
How could it not, when their own constituents are suffering its effects in real time?
But you don't get to skip class for thirty years and then, presto-changeo, hire a PR team to manufacture a new and enlightened image for you.
We can’t waste time waiting for far-right Republicans to accept reality while Americans suffer the consequences. The climate deniers need to go.
Team, will you chip in $25 to send the climate deniers packing and help elect a pro-science majority next November?
Together,
Sean
