House Republicans, led by the spineless Kevin McCarthy, introduced their first bill to the floor of the House.

To no one’s surprise, the bill has nothing to do with lowering inflation or bringing down costs or improving living standards for working people. Instead, they proposed a bill attacking the IRS that’ll add to the deficit, and is a handout to the ultra-rich to avoid paying their fair share.

And to make matters worse, MAGA Republicans are even floating the idea of getting rid of the ENTIRE IRS CODE in favor of an astronomically high sales tax. That means Republicans want to protect the assets of their rich friends, while raising the prices of groceries for everyone else.
