Hi team –

Two years ago this weekend, we passed the American Rescue Plan. I fought to make sure my Child Tax Credit was included in the final bill.

In less than a year, we helped almost 4 million children, cut child poverty nearly in half, and cut hunger in families with children by 25%.

Most importantly, we gave working families a much-needed break.

I’m still fighting to make it permanent, and I won’t stop until we do. We can end child poverty and build an economy that works for everyone - not just a few at the top - and it starts with policies like the Child Tax Credit.
