You might wonder where that $5 contribution goes when it’s
not an election year.

Great question. Much of what we do during the “off-year” lays the
necessary groundwork for success during an election year. For Cori that
means:

* Amplifying her legislative work in Congress;
* Combating attacks from far right extremists and media outlets like Fox
News;
* Educating the public about her policies in ways that are accessible,
like how a Green New Deal for Cities could impact their town, or how
the fall of Roe v. Wade impacts their access to health care; and
* Ensuring Cori has a strong presence in her community, and much more.

These efforts create a strong foundation for victory during the Election
Year — a foundation that, if it isn’t fully funded, could seriously hurt
Cori’s re-election campaign. That's why we're hoping we can count on this
grassroots movement to step up and help us make up the difference over the
