Hi John–Earlier this month, America surpassed 100 mass shootings.
According to the Gun Violence Archive, with every passing year, the US is hitting this grim milestone earlier and earlier. This reality is not normal. The United States is the ONLY country that regularly experiences mass shootings. In contrast, Germany comes in second with an average of six mass shootings a year. If this statistic disgusts you as much as it does us–and you haven’t done so already–please add your name to our latest petition.
We believe we can end gun violence. We frequently say here at the Alliance that each of us is hoping to put ourselves out of a job one day. This epidemic is one that can be prevented. But we cannot do this lifesaving work without your support. Please, consider donating whatever you can to this work. With appreciation, Hazel Brown (they/them) |
