While most of the country was focused on the impeachment trial in the Senate, two crucial things happened.
FIRST: The Koch-backed Super PAC Americans For Prosperity Action announced they were TRIPLING their investment and could spend BIG in 200 federal races this year — with a focus on protecting David Perdue in this single-digit Senate race. He is in trouble and they know it!

As a reminder, the Koch Network spent more than $400 MILLION in the 2018 cycle to elect and protect vulnerable Republicans like Perdue.

THEN: Donald Trump announced his intention of paying for the Republicans’ $1.9 trillion tax scam by CUTTING Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.

NOW: We know David Perdue’s excuse that the tax cut would “pay for itself” was a lie. Trump and Perdue’s grand plan was to spike our deficit until it becomes unsustainable and then claim that cutting your healthcare, retirement, and disability insurance is the only way to close the gap.

Republicans want to eliminate the social safety net and the Koch Network is funding their re-election efforts so they can get it done. The only way we can fight back is with a surge of grassroots donations in critical races like ours that will decide control of the Senate for years to come. [[link removed]]
