Elise Votes to Uncover the Truth on COVID-19 Origins
On Friday, Elise voted to pass the Covid-19 Origins Act of 2023 which requires the Director of National Intelligence to declassify all information pertaining to Communist China's unleashing of COVID-19 onto the world.
Elise Stated:
“When Republicans questioned any of the reasons behind the forced lockdowns, masking, and unconstitutional COVID-19 vaccine mandates, we were called conspiracists, racists, and accused of not following the science. Now more and more evidence is confirming that COVID-19 was leaked from a lab in Wuhan and that Fauci worked to cover it up. The American people deserve answers, not more lies from Dr. Fauci, Big Tech, and the Main Stream Media that worked to suppress this stories for years. House Republicans are uncovering the truth for the American people, and accountability is coming.”
Elise PASSES the Parents’ Bill of Rights Out of the Education Committee
Elise has proudly stood with our Border Patrol Agents and CBP Officers throughout the Biden Border Crisis. She is continuing to call on Joe Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas to secure our border and protect Upstate New York and the North Country. The Swanton Border Section, which includes 6 counties in NY-21, has seen an almost 900% increase of illegal border crossings.

Elise Honored with National Preservation Leadership Award
Elise was honored this past week with the National Preservation Leadership Award from the American Battlefield Trust. Upstate New York and the North Country are home to many incredible battlefields and historical events. Elise is proud to continue preserving our important history.
On the award Elise stated:
“Upstate New York and the North Country are home to a rich history celebrated by the preservation of our many battlefields, and I am proud to earn the National Preservation Leadership Award for my leadership protecting these historic areas. From the Battle of Plattsburgh that marked a decisive victory in the War of 1812 to the Revolutionary War battles of Fort Ann and Ticonderoga, our district is steeped in rich military history. Protecting these battlefields is essential for creating rich educational programming for students and opening this experience to tourists. I will continue to advocate for funding and support and protect these beautiful historic areas in New York’s 21st District.”

Fighting Against Department of Defense School Indoctrination
This week, Elise was proud to introduce her Servicemember Parents’ Bill of Rights. Radical, woke books have increased by 1200% in Department of Defense Education Activity schools.
On her work, Elise stated:

Fighting to STOP the Chinese Communist Party from Infiltrating U.S. Schools
Elise, with the help of her friend, Congresswoman Michelle Steel introduced the Stop Higher Education Espionage and Theft (SHEET) Act, which seeks to stop the Chinese Communist Party from infiltrating U.S. schools. They stated:
“This bill will give the law enforcement community the tools they need to combat bad actors’ influence by directing the federal government to designate foreign intelligence threats to higher education and empower the secretary of Homeland Security to remove these threats. It is not a secret China is the largest threat to our Democracy. Elise and House Republicans are committed to a nation that is SAFE.”
