I’m not always the loudest person in the room, folks. And I’m definitely NOT the type of Congresswoman who’s always in the headlines.

Because I don't think that's what this job is about.

I was born and raised in Michigan. And I care deeply about our manufacturing economy, which is why I served as the Chief of Staff to President Obama’s Auto Rescue Task Force to save thousands of jobs.

It’s also why I helped lead the CHIPS and Science Act through Congress, putting a stop to the semiconductor shortage that harmed our economy for far too long.

To skeptics, manufacturing may seem unimportant. But to Michigan, it’s the backbone of our economy. And I take pride in being one of the biggest champions for our manufacturers in Congress.

Michigan’s working families will always be my top priority. I was elected to get things done, and that’s exactly what I’m working toward every day I’m in Washington.
