Campaigns do them because they “work.” And by work, we mean they trick people into donating.

We are NEVER going to do that kind of thing here. We’re going to be honest about our goals and transparent about our progress. We’re taking a risk by doing things that way, but we’re asking a lot of you to donate and you deserve the truth.

So here is the truth: for the past few weeks, our fundraising HAS slowed down and this is the time we really need it to pick back up.

We get more donations from email than anything else on this campaign, so that is why we’re asking — honestly, respectfully, humbly…
