John,

How was your week? This was mine:

@alaw202, to Trump: You went and told a bunch of billionaires you are going to cut Social Security in DavosFirst, in an interview from Davos, Switzerland, Donald Trump told CNBC that he plans to cut Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid “toward the end of the year.”1

The next day, after wall-to-wall reporting on his comments, he turned around and used a favorite Wall Street talking point, tweeting that he’s going to “save” Social Security, when in fact the exact opposite is the case.

In just three years, Donald Trump has proposed federal budgets that would cut more than $2.5 trillion from our earned benefits. He’s pushed legislation like Trumpcare, which would have destroyed Medicaid and devastated Medicare. And right now his administration is proposing regulations that put more red tape between us and our earned Social Security benefits.2

We’re fighting back!

Donate to Social Security Works today to fight Trump’s plans to cut Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid this year!

Together, we will rally the American people against Donald Trump’s lies and attacks and protect and expand Social Security for current and future generations.

Thank you,

Alex Lawson
