This is not the news I wanted to share with you on a Saturday afternoon. But I don’t have much of a choice under the circumstances.

Here’s the deal; my team is just 4 days away from my March Mid-Month Fundraising Deadline and we’re about 3,000 donors away from where we need to be.

I hate these situations. And I hate doing this – but I have to ask for your help.

I’m not asking for you to write a big check or give some crazy amount of money. I just need a few dollars. I really hate writing these emails because I would much rather be focusing on the serious issues facing our country. But as much as I hate asking you to chip in a couple of bucks, I know it’s worth it in the end.
