While House Republicans are hyper-focused on causing a debt-ceiling crisis to try to force cuts to critical programs like Social Security and Medicare, Martin is working to:

- Advance President Biden’s budget, which would lower healthcare and prescription drug costs, expand access to affordable, high-quality childcare, fund clean energy initiatives, reduce housing costs, and invest in Tribal communities and infrastructure.

- Bring forward legislation to advance America’s clean-energy future, including creating clean-energy jobs.

- Pass the Women’s Health Protection Act to protect abortion access as it’s under attack — from proposed state laws that would charge women who seek abortions with homicide, to an impending federal court decision that could take a safe, widely used abortion drug off the market.
