"I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul. You have not given me into the hands of the enemy but have set my feet in a spacious place."

– Psalm 31:7-8

Africa & Europe

  • Pray for victims of wrongful imprisonment in Kenya as they await justice. Court delays and lack of access to a good lawyer can leave innocent people to suffer under false accusations for years. Pray particularly for one of IJM's clients who was wrongfully charged with robbery, whose trial has been adjourned until March. Pray that her court case would conclude quickly and that the truth would be known. Pray in the meantime that she and her family would know peace and receive the support they need from their community.

Latin America

  • Praise God for an exciting partnership between IJM Bolivia and a local university. An IJM lawyer will be embedded in the legal department of the university, training paralegal students and equipping them to respond to sexual violence. Please pray that this partnership would bear incredible fruit as part of the movement to end sexual violence in Bolivia.

South Asia

  • Please pray for a group of IJM investigators doing follow-up checks at businesses where we rescued families in the last few years. This team will be checking whether these brick kilns, farms and factories have started enslaving other people, or whether they are following the law and paying workers fairly. Pray for safety for IJM staff and our law enforcement partners in this process, and pray that we would see true transformation of places that once abused the poor.

Southeast Asia

  • Please pray for new staff to join our IJM Bangkok team. Our office is recruiting for several positions. Please pray that God will bring the right people to IJM and for them to have an easy transition.

IJM HQ & Global Partners

IJM headquarters is located in the United States. IJM has international advancement offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

  • Pray for IJM to continue to build a strong relationship with Salesforce.org as we consider how to bring the world's best technology to bear in the world's toughest fights. Greater collaboration could allow us to pursue even more innovative and cutting-edge solutions to the age-old problem of slavery. Pray for great creativity and thoughtfulness as we pursue working together more closely.
