Team, let’s talk about our favorite senator, Tammy Baldwin:

Tammy’s a trailblazer, and she’s no stranger to historic campaigns. She was the first woman to represent Wisconsin in both the House of Representatives and the Senate — and in 2012, she became the first openly gay Senator in our nation’s history.

But Tammy didn’t run to make history, she ran to make a difference for all Americans — and we’re so proud to say she’s done just that.

In office, she has championed legislation to support women — from bills to expand access to breast and cervical cancer screenings to protecting reproductive health care access, she uses her voice in the government to advance our priorities.

This Women’s History Month, we are honored to walk in the trails blazed by amazing women like Tammy — who have taken on the fight for equality and the call for public service.

There’s still so much work ahead of us, but when we elect leaders like Tammy Baldwin, we know there’s someone in our government who will fight every day to protect and expand women’s rights and freedoms across our country.
