I get asked this question all the time: “What is the NDR PAC going to focus on now that the 2021-2022 redistricting is over?”

I always give the same answer: Redistricting isn’t over! Not by a long shot.

Voters are continuing to challenge gerrymandered maps in a dozen or more key states across the country – and as many as 19 House districts could be redrawn by the next election. Considering Republicans only hold the majority by four votes, that’s more than enough to swing control of the chamber.

That’s why the NDR PAC is continuing our fight for fair maps at the federal and state level, and I’m hoping we can count on your ongoing support. Will you make a donation right now to help?

Make no mistake, John: The road ahead is not going to be easy. We fully expect map-manipulating politicians to continue fighting tooth and nail for gerrymandered districts. In fact, some Republicans are even trying to undo fair maps!

But I know that our grassroots movement has what it takes to succeed – after all, ahead of the last election, we helped secure what The New York Times called “the fairest House map of the last 40 years.”

So now, we have two choices.

(1) We can assume our work is complete, and let map-manipulating politicians roll back our progress.

(2) We can keep going, elect leaders who will fight for even fairer maps, and help ensure Democrats can compete on a level playing field in 2024.

Remember, President Barack Obama warned us that “Our opposition is counting on [us] to lose the energy and drive that our movement has sustained so far. We simply cannot afford to do that.”
