Dear John,

We at Pacific Justice Institute have received tremendous responses since the Tucker Carlson interview last Thursday with PJI client Jessica Tapia and myself. Prior to the segment last week, PJI interviewed Jessica one-on-one where she provided more context to her case than time permitted in the Tucker interview. Jessica shared these further details about her case:

“[School district administrators] basically said what I had done was so wrong and very serious. They said I was lucky they were allowing me to come back to work but I was going to be put on a 45-day watch where I was going to be closely watched for change of behavior. And I’m just sitting there; I have no behavior to change. I would say I’ve improved professionally each year, but there’s no behavior I can go back and change. I’m going to be myself as I always have

been.

And they said I would need to meet with guidance coordinators and administration and make sure that I was getting students’ genders and pronouns correct. And when they said I was going to return, they presented me with directives and that’s the moment that I knew, I can’t return to work and consciously be who I am, live out my faith and my convictions with what

they were asking me to do.”

Many people who watched the Tucker interview may not know that PJI has never charged a client for our services in 26 years of ministry! And Jessica’s case is no exception; we’ll go to the U.S. Supreme Court if necessary for Jessica—all at no charge.

Would you consider a generous donation today to help us push back against the powerful forces that infringe on our religious freedom, parental rights, and sanctity of life?
