This is exactly why we have kept issuing warnings about Social Security and Medicare. After the State of the Union, when Republicans heckled President Biden for having the temerity to believe what Mitch McConnell’s second-in-command in the Senate John Thune and Speaker Kevin McCarthy said before the election, the media took Republicans for granted when they claimed they were no longer trying to cut Social Security and Medicare.  

Not us. We have kept up our presence on the Hill, pushing members of Congress to take the pledge.
