Africa & Europe
Pray for rescue teams in Ghana as they go into communities to bring children who have been trafficked to safety. With increased rescues, arrests and convictions on human trafficking charges, communities harboring trafficking victims have become more alert and hostile, increasing the difficulty of reaching victims. Pray for protection over the rescue teams and for the safety of all the children who are still trapped in slavery.
Latin America
Praise God for the opportunity to train 40 volunteers from a local organization that works with children in situations of vulnerability in Guatemala. These 40 women and men are now equipped to file a complaint or accompany someone to do so. They also learned about the prevalence of sexual violence in the country, and they are able to identify potential cases in their interactions with at-risk populations in dangerous zones in the country.
South Asia
Pray for our leaders designing the next few years of our anti-trafficking programs in South Asia. As they set targets and strategies, these leaders will provide the pathway needed to protect millions of people from bonded labor slavery. Pray for their wisdom, discernment and grace-filled collaboration.
Asia Pacific
Praise God for a successful safety consultation between IJM’s Center to End the Online Exploitation of Children (OSEC) and the Australian government! Australia’s eSafety Commissioner released another round of notices to tech companies such as

Twitter, TikTok and Google, demanding answers about how they’re combating OSEC on their platforms. Pray that these tech companies will use their power to protect children from exploitation.
