Dear John,
Running for citywide office in a city as large and diverse as New York is one of the most humbling and inspiring things I’ve ever done.
I’ve met neighborhood leaders in living rooms in Jamaica, Queens, parents fighting for educational equity in backyards in Bushwick, and advocates for climate justice on a rooftop on the Upper West Side. No matter where I’ve been in the city, I’ve found people who share our vision of building a more just and more equitable NYC.
To build a citywide foundation for this campaign strong enough to get us over the finish line, I need your help. I’d love the chance to meet your friends, your coworkers, your neighbors, the people your kids play soccer with, and the ones who you hang out with on a Saturday afternoon.
So please, consider hosting a house party. You can partner with a friend, or do it on your own. It doesn’t have to be fancy or large. What matters most is bringing people together to talk about the work we want to do together to make our city a better place for everyone.
If you’re ready to sign up, or want to learn more, let us know here [[link removed]] .
With gratitude for your ongoing support,
Brad
P.S. If hosting a house party isn’t in the cards, you can still give to the campaign [[link removed]] . All contributions from New Yorkers up to $250 will be matched 8:1 by the City’s public finance program, so another $10 will turn into $90 for our campaign to spend on reaching more New Yorkers.
