BREAKING: DeVore Seeks Permission from Effingham County Court to Add 2K Plaintiffs to Existing Lawsuit, Court Grants, Now 7K Plaintiffs and 200 FFLs Part of Assault Weapons Ban ([link removed])

On Friday, Effingham County Chief Judge Douglas Jarman granted attorney Tom DeVore’s order requesting to amend his initial complaint and include an additional 2,000 plaintiffs to his lawsuit challenging Gov. JB Pritzker’s assault weapons ban.

DeVore’s lawsuits in total, represent over 7,000 plaintiffs and over 200 Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs).

Chicago Police Department, Community Honor Fallen Police Office Andres Vasquez Lasso ([link removed])

Chicago Police Officer Andres Vasquez Lasso was killed in the line of duty responding to a domestic call last week. The shooting took place by Sawyer Elementary School in the Gage Park neighborhood.

Since the pandemic, the Democrats have tried to rewrite history, even taking credit for the return to in-person learning “in spite of Republicans,” but in Orland Park, Mayor Keith Pekau is doing more than just rewriting history – he’s deleting it altogether on the village’s official website, as residents continue to reject his latest power grab being dubbed a “referendum” – moving the village away from a council-manager form of government to a mayor-council form of government.
