John,
Hi, it’s Jane Fonda. I want to share some thoughts on why we are so focused on down-ballot races here at the Jane Fonda Climate PAC. But first, will you contribute $10 right away to support our crucial work?

Many people consider the year between the midterms and the presidential election an “off-year” for political engagement. But when it comes to combatting the climate crisis, there is no such thing as an off-year.
Every year there are crucial elections across the country that will determine the future of the fight against the climate crisis. The fossil fuel industry and their elected allies will never rest – and neither will we.
Mayors, city councilors, county supervisors, commissioners, district attorneys, controllers, and every other elected or appointed official all play a role when it comes to policies related to extracting, transporting, and burning fossil fuels. From approving permits for deadly drilling projects and pipelines to how we power our homes, offices, and public transportation, each office will make decisions that will impact our progress one way or the other.
That’s why my climate PAC is endorsing climate champions with a proven record of climate action in local races this year – starting with Pennsylvania and Colorado. We are still finalizing our slate of candidates in these states, and as one of our grassroots supporters, you will be among the first to know when we are ready to announce our endorsements.
Will you contribute $10 today to help elect climate champions at every level of government to protect our planet?

Thank you for your support,
Jane Fonda
