Brandon Johnson is a union organizer and former teacher campaigning to ensure every Chicagoan has "reliable transportation, good paying jobs, affordable housing."

On the other hand, Paul Vallas is an anti-abortion extremist backed by special interests, echoed Trump's attacks on Chicago, and supports defunding Chicago's public schools.
