Friends and Neighbors,

Recently I had the privilege of being a guest on a TV program called the Pastor’s Study, with Pastor Tom Brock. It is a popular program that originated in Minnesota more than two decades ago but now airs in 12 states, plus several nationwide affiliates. Pastor Tom, the host, has been an ordained Lutheran Pastor since 1979. He was born in Omaha but graduated from Bethel College in St. Paul with a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies, and he has a Masters of Divinity degree from Luther Seminary in St. Paul.

The subject of our conversation was “what happens when radicals come for our children.”

It is a timely topic given the frightening speed with which Democrats are enacting some of the most dangerous, extreme legislation we have ever seen.

We covered a number of these important topics during our discussion, including the extreme abortion bill that Democrats passed last month, their destructive effort to legalize recreational marijuana, their plans to have government intervene in private counseling decisions, and their effort to make Minnesota a gender-affirming sanctuary state, complete with irreversible mutilative surgeries.

Their agenda is truly tragic. I have said this before, but our responsibility is to speak the Truth of God’s word; only God has the power to take those truths and change people’s hearts. I have faith that their eyes will be opened.

Please take a few minutes to watch the entire program, which is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIvveOA-8KU

Once You Have Finished, I Ask Two Things:

1. Please get involved. Please contact your elected officials. Let Gov. Walz and Democrats in the legislature know that you oppose their agenda. Ask them to consider the consequences; to think about the effects their decisions are going to have on our children and our state. You can contact Gov. Walz at 651-201-3400, or you can find your legislators here: https://www.gis.lcc.mn.gov/iMaps/districts/.

2. Pray for them. Pray for Gov. Walz. Pray for Democrats in Minnesota and across the country, so their eyes may be opened to what they are doing. There is still hope.

Thank you.
