The GOP just passed a resolution in the House that would overturn the Biden administration’s Clean Water Rule — which protects wetlands, rivers, and streams under the Clean Water Act.
Biden’s Clean Water Rule was put in place to reverse the damages Trump made to environmental protections. Now, McCarthy is trying to appease the former president by chipping away at water standards. Make no mistake, John, their goal is to make the Clean Water Act obsolete.
