Overnight, the House Committee on Education and the Workforce passed a bill to keep trans women and girls from playing sports by cutting federal spending for any team that allows trans players. This comes amid unprecedented anti-trans measures in Texas, Tennessee, Missouri, Florida, and more.

These moves are incredibly dangerous, and will have widespread consequences. I unequivocally condemn Republicans' hateful rhetoric and legislation, and I will fight tooth and nail to protect trans communities across the country.
