Here are the facts, friend.
- Chlorpyrifos is a neurotoxic pesticide that can cause brain damage in kids even at incredibly low doses, and can be found on some of kids’ favorite foods, like apples, peaches and grapes.
- This pesticide is so hazardous that the EU, California and New York have already announced plans to BAN it.
- But the Trump EPA continues to protect chlorpyrifos even though, according to its own assessments, the levels of chlorpyrifos on food and in drinking water found in multiple independent studies are unsafe.
Clearly, we can’t rely on the Trump EPA to protect our health. We have to stand up and demand retailers to do the right thing and get chlorpyrifos out of their stores!
44,572 supporters have already signed EWG’s petition calling on Kroger, Safeway and Publix to ban chlorpyrifos, but I don’t see your name. Take a look:

Chlorpyrifos has been linked to impaired IQ and brain development in kids, even at low doses. Recent studies also found that kids may face an increased risk of ADHD when mothers are exposed to pesticides, including chlorpyrifos, during pregnancy.
This dangerous pesticide shouldn’t be anywhere near our food. But the Trump EPA has continued to put pesticide industry profits before public health. We need 100,000 supporters to tell major grocery chains like Kroger, Safeway and Publix to protect our kids and say NO to brain-damaging chlorpyrifos!
Thanks for taking action, friend.
