Ayanna and our team have been extremely busy to start the year — working to build community in the MA-07 and bringing forth transformative legislation in Congress.
We have an upcoming end-of-quarter fundraising deadline, so we wanted to share a few highlights from this year so far and then ask if you will make a $3 contribution to support our campaign?
On the organizing front, our team has hosted house parties in both Everett and Hyde Park, bringing together dozens of people to create connection, community, and give Ayanna the opportunity to hear directly from folks about what’s on their minds.
The Ayanna for Black Men program also recently hosted a wellness event — creating a chance for Black men from across the MA-07 to be in community, receive information, and have the opportunity to practice yoga, receive a massage, learn about wellness, and more.
In Washington DC, Ayanna has been working every day to legislate for progress. Already this year, Ayanna has:
Re-introduced the EACH Act to end the discriminatory Hyde Amendment and advance reproductive freedom;
Introduced a resolution to affirm the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment;
Re-introduced Baby Bonds legislation to help close the racial wealth gap;
Rallied for student debt cancellation outside the Supreme Court and urged the Court to uphold the President's plan; and,
Introduced a bill to ban government use of discriminatory facial recognition technology.
Ayanna and our team are dedicated to creating tangible change through policy and building community in the MA-07 year round.
This is what your donations help make possible. Ayanna doesn’t take a dime from corporate PACs or do call time with big donors. We rely on grassroots contributions from emails just like this one.
Thank you so much,
The A-Team
