Friend — We both know that the current federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour is untenable. Congress has failed to raise the federal minimum wage since 2009, leaving millions in poverty as the cost of living rises.

It’s why we’ve run — and won — campaigns in NINE states to raise the minimum wage and give America’s workers some financial relief! But Americans all across the country are long overdue for a raise, so we’re calling on Congress to raise the federal minimum wage right here, right now.

And before you say this is a partisan issue, that a $15 minimum wage is a coastal elite pipe dream — this past November, we worked alongside voters in Nebraska to raise wages to $15/hour. We know if we can make this happen in deep-red Nebraska, we can make this happen anywhere.
