John,
I have bad news in our lawsuit against the Chico Unified School District on behalf of Aurora Regino and her young daughter.
Last night we found out that our motion for a preliminary injunction was denied.
Which means that the Chico schools’ horrible parental secrecy policy will remain in place as our case moves forward.
Although this is disappointing – we’re moving ahead as rapidly as possible to trial seeking a permanent injunction which will destroy these anti-parental rights policies.
But we urgently need your help.
Which is why I’m asking you for an emergency donation of $35, $50, $100 or more today to fund our critical lawsuit on behalf of Aurora Regino.
As you likely remember, Aurora’s young daughter, who at the time was processing a death in the family, was told by an elementary school guidance counselor that she was transgender and the school began to “socially transition” her by changing her pronouns and names all behind Aurora’s back.
Of course, as soon as Aurora found out and spoke with her daughter, the “transition” ended as it was clear that her daughter was not, in fact, transgender.
But, the school was unrepentant and you and I know that there are hundreds if not thousands of schools across the country that have similar policies of “transitioning” students without telling their parents.
In fact, this is the official model policy provided by the California Department of Education to every public school in the state.
This is dangerous, and frankly unconstitutional.
Parents have the right to direct the upbringing of their children – but the radical Left would like nothing more than to take over the upbringing of children and brainwash them into a generation of socialists.
We’re fighting tooth and nail to stop them – but we can’t do it without you.
So, I hope you’ll join the fight with a tax-deductible donation of $35 or more to the Center for American Liberty today as we move full steam ahead on our lawsuit against Chico Unified School District and its dangerous, anti-parent policies.
Even though we our motion for a preliminary injunction was denied, I’m still confident we can win at trial on the merits and put a stop to these anti-parent policies.
And it’s absolutely vital that we emerge victorious.
Because a victory here could help set a precedent that could be used nationwide to stop these radical parental secrecy policies everywhere.
Even though these policies exist mostly in states like California, you and I both know that what starts in California never stays there.
In fact, we’re already seeing reports of similar policies in several other states.
There’s no time to waste. So please make an urgent donation of $35, $50, $100, or more today and help us destroy this radical policy and protect parents and their children from coast-to-coast.
Cases like this are exactly why I founded the Center for American Liberty.
Vulnerable children and their parents—moms like Aurora Regino—need someone to stand up and fight for them.
And, because of you, we’ve been able to come alongside of folks like Aurora, Jessica Konen, Chloe Cole, and so many others.
Thank you for your continued support.
