[1]Bowman for Congress
John,
Black History Month may have come to a close, but Congressman Jamaal
Bowman and I are introducing legislation to help ensure that Black History
remains here to stay.
We have reintroduced the African American History Act to help educators
have more resources to tell the stories and honor the legacy of Black
Americans — no matter the latest attempts to gloss over our country's
history.

will you add your name as a citizen cosponsor of Rep. Bowman's and my
legislation in the House and Senate to pass the African American History
Act and help ensure our history is taught for years to come?

Many today are trying to erase our history.
To stop its teaching in schools.
To pull it from library bookshelves.
To mislabel and fearmonger to the lowest common denominators of hatred,
prejudice, bigotry, and racism.
WE will continue to honor Black history and inform its teachings into
building a more just, loving nation.
And we hope you will join us.
[ [link removed] ]If you support Representative Jamaal Bowman and my mission of creating
a more just, loving nation by embracing our history, not hiding it or
shying away from it, then please add your name as a citizen cosponsor of
our twin legislation to pass the African American History Act in the House
and Senate today.

Thanks,
John.
With love and gratitude,
Cory
