John,
Did you know that 174 years ago today on March 10, 1849, the Wisconsin Assembly voted to pass an abortion ban?
I doubt that anyone after the Roe decision in 1973 thought we would once again be living under archaic abortion laws from 1849, but that’s our post-Dobbs reality here in Wisconsin.
On the anniversary of our state’s antiquated abortion ban from 1849, Women Win Wisconsin is bringing folks from every corner of Wisconsin together to rally for reproductive justice and restore our reproductive rights.
It’s going to take all of us to elect pro-choice leaders up and down the ballot and send a clear message that our civil rights aren’t up for debate.
We’re hosting rallies all across Wisconsin, from Appleton to Eau Claire – and we would love for you to join us! |
