In honor of Women's History Month, we are spotlighting women who are making history in our community! First, we're honored to share the following message from our partner Jade, founder of Nothing In Between Studio.

Nail salons are a place where people go to relax and indulge.

For years, I have been studying the nail industry and evaluating the culture of nail salons. In my research, I’ve noticed countless negative aspects of the industry. The harsh chemical-contained nail products, poor quality nail services, and improper work environment for employees are at the top.

As a health-conscious individual, I wanted to reinvent the standard of nail salons. With health, well-being, community, and our environment in mind, my goal is to re-envision the nail & spa experience. This is why I created Nothing In Between Studio. The name signifies our value of transparency. All the products we use during our services are high-quality, natural, and non-toxic. Our atmosphere is calming, airy, inspiring, and clean. Our staff is professional, well-trained, and helpful.

My hope is that when you step foot into our space, that you will feel the difference through our care & intentionality.

SAAPM is coming soon in April! Join Doorways by raising awareness about the issue and the many resources available to survivors. Here's how:

1) Request a workshop for youth or adults: Complete our online request form to request a workshop, invite Doorways to table at your event, and more.

2) Talk with kids: Host a family movie night! Check out The Workshop at Doorways’ movie night discussion questions for kids and families.

Deliver or send critical supplies for our clients

Swing by our office on Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to drop off your donations, or ship a gift directly to Doorways via our Amazon Wish List.

Currently, we have several families transitioning out of shelter, but very few linens and bedsheets to provide them. Please help our clients get a great night's sleep in their new home! Thank you!
