I co-founded VoteVets 17 years ago, after I got back from my second tour in Iraq.

The Iraq War was a disaster, and the reason it happened was because of who got elected to the White House.

And to me, the best way to stop that from happening again was to raise the voices of Veterans — Democratic and progressive Veterans, their families, and allies — in Washington and beyond.

Since then, we’ve become the 5th largest Super PAC supporting Democrats. We’ve had a lot of wins. We’ve done a lot of good work.

And the next chapter in that work is winning back — and expanding — Democratic majorities in 2024.
